More Class Details
Based on the idea that drawing is directly connected to accurately seeing something, this workshop presents technical approaches to basic drawing. It supports the development of accurate seeing, as well as the development of each person’s stylistic tendencies. Participants will also learn basics of the visual language and apply them the drawing process. Participants will be invited to examine examples of drawings to discover connections to their own learning process. They will be encouraged to discuss how their work helps them understand what other artists have “seen” and to share their responses to what they are learning. Open to participants at any level of experience with drawing, especially those who have never studied drawing.
