TEACHING ARTIST
Carol Sterling (she, her) is an artist and arts educator trained at Teachers College, Columbia University with 60 years plus teaching experience in K-12 schools, graduate schools as well as in senior and community centers. She especially loves working with older adults, her peers. After retiring in 2011 as Arts in Education Director for Brooklyn Arts Council in NYC, she was selected as a U.S. Fulbright Program Specialist as a teaching artist and worked with adults in Uganda and India and has conducted workshops in l0 countries.
