Edgardo Rivera (he, him) has 15 years experience in finance, contracts, HR, and operations in organizations with a public service mission. He is currently Senior Director of Operations and Finance at Morningside Center. Morningside Center is a major provider of trainings and coachings around social emotional learning, restorative Justice and racial equity models with teachers and school support staff in New York City and beyond.
Edgardo also served as an Adjunct teaching introduction to economics and macroeconomic courses. Edgardo has a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Purchase, a Master’s from The New School, and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Financial Management from Baruch College.
Edgardo likes teaching and learning traditional Okinawan Karate, hiking, and running. He is an avid meditation practitioner and started co-facilitating the first online Spanish-speaking Recovery Dharma meeting, a Buddhist-centered sobriety group.
